Invocation-3

 श्री मन्मूलरामो विजयते - हरि सर्वोत्तम - वायु जीवोत्तम

मातृ देवो भव | पितृ देवो भव | आचार्य देवो भव | अतिथि देवो भव |

(Taittiriya Upanishad, 1.11.2)

श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः परमगुरुभ्यो नमः ।

श्रीमदानन्दतीर्थभगवत्पादाचार्यगुरुभ्यो नमः ॥

श्री राघवेंद्राय नमः

गुरुरेव परो धर्मो गुरुरेव परा गतिः ।

गुरुरेव परो बन्धुर्गुरुरेव परः स्मृतः ॥

गुरुरेव महापापं क्षपयत्यात्मभावतः ।

श्रीगुरुभ्यो नम इति गुरुमन्त्रं जपेत यः ॥

Sanatana Dharma confers paramount importance to spiritual gurus. Worshiping Gurus is a tradition in Bharateeya Samskruti that has been practiced since time immemorial.

“Gu” means darkness and “Ru” means its remover. A Guru, therefore, is one who removes darkness and dispels the ignorance within us. He is the teacher who clears away the fundamental ignorance that hides the knowledge of truth (Yathartha Jnaana).

The Guru is the embodiment of all righteousness and the ultimate spiritual goal. He is the truest relative who stands by you on the path of liberation, and he is regarded as the highest essence of all existence

For the one who constantly chants the sacred mantra of salutation to the Guru, the Guru wipes away even the heaviest sins by awakening the seeker's inner spiritual nature. The Guru acts as a purifier who burns away the "darkness" of past karmas through divine knowledge.

ब्रह्मांता गुरवः साक्षादिष्टं दैवं श्रियःपतिः

आचार्याः श्रीमदाचार्याः संतु मे जन्मजन्मनि

पूज्याय राघवेंद्राय सत्यधर्मरताय च।

भजतां कल्पवृक्षाय नमतां कामधेनवे॥

मूकोपि यत्प्रसादेन मुकुंद शयनायते

राजराजायते रिक्तो राघवेंद्रं तमाश्रये ||

दुर्वादिध्वांतरवये वैष्णवेंदीवरेंदवे |

श्रीराघवेंद्रगुरवे नमोऽत्यंतदयालवे ||

आपादमौलि पर्यंतं गुरूणां आकृतिं स्मरेत्

तेन विघ्नाः प्रणश्यंति सिध्ध्यंति च मनोरथाः ||

पृथ्वी मंडल मध्यस्थाः पूर्णबोध मतानुगाः ।

वैष्णव विष्णुहृदयस्तान्नमस्ये गुरून्मम ॥
